Magic Beach Motel - Vilano Beach, Saint Augustine

I love a motel, and this didn't disappoint. It's a total gem in Vilano beach, and even though there's no Ocean View it's very close. The retro feel and decor was just awesome. If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities this is not the place for you, but if you want to visit a classic, try out the magic Beach motel! The air conditioning, television, shower all worked. Our suite had a very tiny and oddly stalked kitchen. The thing it was lacking was Linens and plates and Cutlery. You have to bring your own. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a grocery store right across the street and a great little diner called the Surfside kitchen.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we stayed 4 nights in a comfortable room with a large corner balcony overlooking the sea and the resort's clean quiet street, a large window, a jacuzzi, a wonderful room interior, I always pay attention to this when staying in hotels, silent air conditioning, access to the sea from the hotel, a nicely equipped clean beach, the water temperature in the ocean is refreshing, places for dinner within walking distance, and a Publix store, also nearby, walking tours to the pier, everything was charming, the room was cleaned perfectly. I want to come back again.

The motel itself was very cute and a great stay overall. The beds were comfy and the sheets/towels were very clean. Stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it was in its own separate room with a little table and chairs, which was very nice. And it's right by the beach. The staff was hugely helpful and very nice, as well. Such a pleasant stay.

The property was very cleaned, the room was cleaned and smelled really good. It was easy to find. Walking distance from Publix and the ocean. Dog friendly ($25 fee/day, excepted and understandable).
